Agency : Standard worked with pro-golfer (and nicest guy in the world) Smylie Kaufman to develop the visual identity for his growing umbrella brand. Actively resisting the yellow emoji smiley, we created an elegant and simple visual that marries Smylie’s love of golf with his positive vibes.

Nothing is more iconic than a yellow smiley face. Which is why we had to do something different.

The logo for our Smylie Kaufman brand features a cheerful golf ball with a friendly smile. The lavander color scheme chosen for our brand’s palette embodies the essence of sophistication, tranquility, and refinement – as well as a nod to Smylie’s alma mater, LSU.
